Who were we when the universe brought us together?
Who are we, now that we have since parted?
Was it all just an illusion?
Of moments shared, memories built, only to fade into the horizon.
As the sun that once rose ever so brightly, has now set into the darkness.
Was it real, or was it not?
Much time spent, sweat and blood,
A play of shadows in the light and in the dark,
All fading away as if it's an illusion.

with impermanence comes Dukkha (unsatisfactoriness) and Anatta (non-self).
"all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all conditioned things are subject to Dukkha. All things are without self."
